Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Team Tasks Manager Discord bot (“TTM”, “the bot”, “the service”), provided by bitsplitters (“we”, “us”). By adding the bot to a Discord server or using it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the bot.

1. The service

TTM is a Discord application that lets teams create and manage shared task lists directly inside Discord, with features such as reminders, task ownership, tagging, configuration and webhooks.

2. Eligibility

You must comply with the Discord Terms of Service (opens in a new tab) and Community Guidelines, and meet Discord’s minimum age requirement, to use TTM. A server administrator who adds the bot is responsible for its use within that server.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the bot for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the bot or its infrastructure;
• use the bot to store or transmit content that is illegal or violates the rights of others;
• configure webhooks or task content that target malicious, misleading, or unauthorized endpoints.

4. Your content

You are solely responsible for the content you create through the bot — task text, list titles, reminders, and webhook configurations (URLs, headers, bodies). You represent that you have the right to use and share such content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

5. Webhooks and third parties

The webhook feature sends HTTP requests to endpoints you configure. You are responsible for those endpoints and for any data they receive. We are not responsible for third-party services you connect to the bot.

6. Availability and “as is”

The bot is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (in whole or in part) at any time.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from the use or inability to use the bot.

8. Termination

You may stop using the bot at any time by removing it from your server. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to protect the service and its users.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be subject to the competent courts of Italy, unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
